HELP FUND PROFESSIONAL DOULAS FOR LOW-INCOME WOMEN

In 2013, Giuditta Tornetta created The Joy In Birthing Foundation, a non-profit of professional doulas serving low-income women in the Greater Los Angles area. In 2015, they have educated and served over 250 women and families, and with your help, can serve even more next year.

Many are homeless, young teenagers, low-income women who have arrived here from other countries, or pregnant women in the foster care system. The Joy In Birthing Foundation works with partners to empower women to get the care they desire, to educate and accompany families before, during, and after the birth of their child by providing doula care free of charge for those families who are in need of extra support.
