i love this book – shakti woman by vicki noble. especially the part in here about women being sought after, in earlier times, just prior to their moon time, because they were perceived to be in a better position than any to “tell it like it is”…so the village would seek out these women to get their takes on things. knowing that their take would be no-holds-barred and drenched in righteous truth. amen a hundred times
